"Finding Nemo" 3D Movie Poster and Display Structure

With nothing more than a gifted imagination, two different types of fabric and SEG aluminum extrusion frame, this recreation of the original movie poster is a perfect match for both its timeliness of the 3D movie re-release and its holographic look-and-feel for the target audience. I was responsible for the entire spec project look-and-feel including SEG graphics and structure. An in-house AGAM industrial designer provided the structural design.

Since this is a sheer fabric, the foreground image blends into the background. The reverse-stitched SEG fabric background image features the entire movie poster. When the two are aligned together, the blending of images in the 1.75” aluminum frame viewport provides an effect that is unlike anything you’ve seen before. It’s something that’s entirely visually arresting.

The display structure was designed using a mix of aluminum and steel components Diffused white acrylic allows for a back-lit Disney Pixar logo through battery-powered LED lighting units.
