About Plikó:
Plikó Display is a tool-free SEG exhibit frame. There are no loose pieces and no tools are required for assembly. It can be fully setup in less than 10 minutes. It has a related product called Mizó.
Role: Graphic Designer for Plikó brand identity, wordmark logo and most marketing collateral
For this project, I was tasked to created the visual product identification system for both Plikó and its sister product line Mizó. I felt it was vitally important that the overall Plikó+Mizó product line share the same visual DNA and carry a consistent look-and-feel. This visual consistently is carried through with not only each wordmark, but the photographic styles of each display graphic as well.
From the beginning of the project, I was given keywords from the marketing team like "international", "worldly" and "modern" for guidance and inspiration.
In keeping within the marketing department's "international" feel, the photographic style for each display graphic was that of something from a European fashion house or beauty magazine. Provocative and original, the display graphics feature attractive models in a decadently stylized manner. This uniquely "international" look-and-feel offers a stark visual contrast from any other competitor products that might be located next to each other in dealer showrooms. Finally, the product name "Plikó" is a word derivative based on the Latin word "plic" which translates to "fold".
